Joshua Brown, 30, of Spokane, was arrested on charges of possession of mMethamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 37000 block of Highway 41 in Oldtown at 9:06 p.m.

A deputy assisted Ponderay Police in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 9:21 p.m.

Deputies investigated a 911 hang-up in the 300 block of Larchwood Drive in Sagle at 9:20 p.m.

Deputies investigated a 911 hang-up in the 490000 block of Highway 95 at 10:57 p.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 28

Officers advised that a report of a stolen vehicle in the 300 block of McGhee Road in Kootenai at 9:26 a.m. was unfounded.

An officer answered a citizen's questions in the 200 block of N. First Avenue at 9:54 a.m.

Officers responded for a civil standby requested in the 500 block of Pine Street at 10:05 a.m.

An officer advised that a child playing with a phone in the S. Division Avenue area dialed 911 at 11:11 a.m.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Pine Street for a civil dispute at 10:05 a.m.

Officers checked on a male in the area of U.S. 2 and S. Division Avenue at 2:25 p.m. and advised he was fine.

Trinity M. Gould, 48, of Sandpoint, was cited in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue at 3:04 p.m. on a charge of reckless driving.

A follow-up report was taken on N. Division Avenue at 3:53 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Olive Avenue at 4:39 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 1200 block of Walnut Street at 4:41 p.m.

An officer attempted to assist a citizen in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 7:59 p.m.

Michael R. Butchko, 46, of Sandpoint, was cited on a misdemeanor driving without privileges charge in the area of Great Northern Road and Turbine Drive at 9:54 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Feb. 28

An officer received an informational call in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 7:54 a.m.

An officer responded to the 500 block of Pine Street to assist Sandpoint Police at the scene of a civil dispute at 10:05 a.m.

Officer responded to the 476900 block of Highway 95 for a report of child abuse at 2:57 p.m.

An officer responded to threats in the 1100 block of Triangle Drive at 5:42 p.m.

An officer responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 476900 block of U.S. 95 at 6:22 p.m.

Stanton T. McDaniel, 48, of Ponderay was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 9:21 p.m.
