The Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 to consider the request to construct four three-story, 24-unit apartment buildings totaling 96 units on 5.2 acres.

The apartments would be located at the east side of Fontaine Drive at its intersection with the Fontaine Connector.

The project includes 1 to 3-bedroom units, dedication of a public right-of-way along the north and south boundaries of the infrastructure and roughly .65 acres along the east boundary for construction of the public park.

During the hearing, members of the public will have the opportunity to provide testimony as well as evidence regarding how the proposal does or does not comply with the applicable approval criteria of the Ponderay Cty Code and the city’s Comprehensive Plan.

Anyone needing special accommodations is asked to contact the Ponderay Planning Department.

Written comments will be accepted up to one week before the hearing. Written comments under a page and oral testimony will be accepted until the public comment portion of the hearing is closed.
