Alida Darlene Courser, 65

Alida Darlene Courser, 65, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Services will be held at a later date. Darlene will be buried in the Superior Montana Cemetery.

Darlene was born on May 28, 1955, in Fall City, Washington, to Donald and Alida Boyce. She grew up and attended schools in Superior.

Darlene married Michael Courser in May 1971. They made their home on Upper Pack River near Sandpoint, Idaho. This is where she raised her two children.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking cakes. She also loved flowers and walking.

Darlene has been living at Valley Vista Care Center for the past 15 years due to her Huntington’s disease.

She is survived by her children, Genda Courser and Austin Courser; five grandchildren, Amber, Kendra, Mary, and Casey Johnson, and Owen Courser; three brothers, Ron (Lorie) Boyce, Wayne (Maria) Boyce, and James Boyce; and three sisters, Donna Erickson, Nancy (Jeff) Herman, and Dolly Boyce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald Boyce and Roy Seimore; and one sister, April Johnson.
