Crews respond to fire near Coolin

COOLIN — An initial attack is underway on the a 30-acre Lee Fire near Coolin, Idaho Department of Lands officials said Thursday.

Approximately 25 responders from the Idaho Department of Lands — Helitac and Pend Oreille Lake and Priest Lake supervisory areas — West Priest Lake Fire District, Coolin Cavenaugh Bay Fire Protection District, and the North of the Narrows Fire District are on site.

The cause of this fire is under investigation.

Early in the incident an engine became stuck in a meadow, but it was safely removed and sustained no damage.
