Priest Lake Nordic Club clears trails
Priest Lake Nordic Club has been maintaining local trails for Nordic sports since the mid-1980s. Now they are trying to raise money for another trail groomer as the trails are now experiencing a higher demand for winter recreation.

PRIEST LAKE — Priest Lake Nordic Club has cleared Nordic trails after last week’s windstorm.
The club is a group of volunteers that work to maintain Nordic trails for winter recreation in the Priest Lake area. The club has relocated the trailhead for Chipmunk Rapids to make it easier to find.
The new trailhead is located right at the parking area near the information kiosk. A new sign board has been installed at the trailhead for updates on grooming and trail conditions.
The club has raised 75 percent of their fundraising goal for a new groomer thanks to an anonymous donation of $3,000.
