The joy and wonder of creationism

After much study of secular and biblical sources I have become convinced that God created the world and its people in six literal 24-hour days.
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:5 “the evening and the morning were the first day.” One of the major realizations in my studies was to acknowledge that the evolution explanation itself is ridiculous when you think that life just spontaneously occurred or that the universe resulted from a big bang. The chances of either happening alone, without some sort of intelligence as the source, is totally impossible.
The only logical explanation is that there is a God and that He created the universe by the power of His word. By definition, God is infinitely powerful and knowledgeable and therefore is easily able to create multiple universes simultaneously if He so desires. Even if you just looked at the construction and operation of the human eye you could only conclude that a divine creator produced that part of your body. Not to mention the complexity and interdependence of the rest of creation.
God, part of the trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is that divine creator of heavens and the earth alone without any help from any other power or source. There are those who have compromised their faith and teach theistic evolution. Answers in Genesis describes it as “the false teaching that God started or directed evolutionary processes. This view makes God a bumbling, incompetent Creator and the author of death and suffering as it puts them before mankind’s sin. It calls into question the truth of God’s Word and his character as an all-powerful, loving God.”
Essentially those who believe in theistic evolution are telling God they believe Him when He teaches us about the virgin birth of Christ as well as His death and resurrection but they don’t trust Him when He tells us about how He created the world.
The problem with theistic evolution is that it doesn’t acknowledge Adam as the first man (Genesis 2:7) and turns the creation account into a mythological story. Yet the sinner, Adam, and the Savior, Jesus, are linked together in the Bible. Romans 5:17: “Therefore, as one trespass (sin) led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness (Jesus dying for us on the cross) leads to justification and life for all men.” Therefore, theistic evolution undermines the biblical basis of Jesus’ work of redemption.
The joy of creation is knowing that you came from the created Adam. You are a creation of the God of the universe. You can have a relationship with your creator through His Son, Jesus Christ, when you repent of your sin and trust Him as your savior. You are more than an animal, you have a soul with meaning and purpose beyond mere actions of instinct.
What joy to know you were put here to give God glory, and that ultimately you can live in heaven for ever with God through the saving grace of Christ who died for you to provide salvation. Don’t back down from the truth of creation. Stand firm with the truth of the word because the worlds theories and explanations come and go but God is forever and forever the true creator of the universe whether you believe it or not.
