Kathleen Hunt Redman, 72

Kathleen Hunt Redman, 72, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Sandpoint, Idaho. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  

Kate was born on November 6, 1948, in Sherman, Texas, to Bill and Margaret Hunt. She grew up and attended schools in San Mateo, California, graduating in 1966. She was mom to three girls. 

Kate married James Redman on November 7, 1995, in Cancun, Mexico. They made their home in Sandpoint. Kate was involved with the Gardenia Center. She loved art, her husband, her friends, tropical weather, her dog Lilly and her amazing grandkids.  

She is survived by her husband, Jim Redman of Sandpoint; her brother, Ken Hunt and family of Spokane, Washington; her two daughters, Michelle (Mike) Ducharm of Issaquah, Washington; and Jennifer (Brian) Foote of LaConner, Washington; six grandchildren, Taylor, Delaney, Sawyer, Peter, Margaret, and Camden.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Brandy Chandler.  

Memorial donations in Kate’s name may be made to the Gardenia Center, 400 Church St, Sandpoint.
