City to address water treatment violation
A mechanical failure caused partially treated water to be distributed by the Sand Creek water treatment plant in mid-July.
SANDPOINT — Water treatment violation notification will be discussed at tonight's city council meeting.
There will be a presentation made by Water Treatment Supervisor Rich Buday. City staff will provide an update on a notice of violation from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality for the Sand Creek Water Treatment Plant.
Also on the agenda is a water/wastewater rate study to be presented by City Administrator Jennifer Stapleton.
Before the meeting, written comment may be submitted to the email cityclerk@sandpointidaho.gov or delivered to City Hall.
