Exbabylon IT Solutions has again been recognized as a top place to work in the region.

A leading managed security, cloud and IT solution provider, Exbabylon was recently named as one of the 2021 "Best Places to Work Inland Northwest." It’s the company's second appearance on the list, having previously been recognized in 2020 — the first (and only) business headquartered in Pend Oreille County to make the list.

"Happy employees equal happy clients, and vise-versa,” said Exbabylon founder CEO Alex Stanton. "We are confident in our model, commitment to clients and simple, modern solutions that solve complex issues— truly bettering the lives of those we work with.”

Headquartered in Newport, Wash., Exbabylon also operates offices in Sandpoint and Hayden. Led by Stanton, the firm has 35 employees and serves small, medium and enterprise clients with a focus on aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing and engineering industries through operating divisions including managed IT & cyber security, physical security and Verizon Wireless.

Exbabylon one of the Inland Northwest’s largest Microsoft Direct Cloud Solution providers certified in government, commercial and non-profit. The company holds the prestigious Azure Government (FedRAMP High) authorization and helps organizations across the region manage their Microsoft Cloud Digital Transformation Initiatives. Exbabylon is also the largest Apple Consultant Network partner in the Spokane metro region, and the only authorized ACN in North Idaho. Exbabylon’s deep commitment to the Apple and Microsoft ecosystems allows highly effectual solutions that solve for the needs of a modern workforce, company officials said.

Stanton said company officials and employees are thankful to be selected as the top place to work for the second straight year. He added the company sees it as confirmation that “human is greater than tech” works as Exbabylon continue to invest into the North Idaho and Eastern Washington communities.

“When you look at the INW Best Places To Work list these last few years, I’m proud to find multiple Exbabylon clients alongside us— that’s a testament to the aligned cultures of highly successful organizations in our region,” Stanton said. “Just be nice and kind to people.”

Exbabylon continually seeks to provide employees opportunities for professional growth and development. Company-wide efforts to engage employees include weekly team meetings, daily stand-up collaboration sessions and a hybrid work from home model.

As a member of the INC 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies two years running, Exbabylon has maintained a commitment to excellence in the context of healthy work-life harmony, fostering a customer-centric growth culture that is 100% engineer-led, Exbabylon officials said. With no sales staff, Exbabylon has proven that an IT firm can grow exponentially while retaining its best people and existing clients in the process, officials said.

Business named to the list were honored at the Spokane Convention Center with a celebration awards ceremony on Oct. 6. The rankings were published in the Oct/ 7, 2021 issue of the Journal of Business.
