Roy Earl Sprinkle

Roy Earl Sprinkle was a resident of Alaska for 58 years. Born May 6, 1935, he passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022. His wife Joann passed away a year earlier on the same day.

Roy retired from the Teamsters. Roy worked on the pipeline from its beginning to its completion. After his retirement, he and his wife Joann owned and operated the R+S Laundromat.

Roy leaves behind his son, Robert Sprinkle (Sydney); daughters, Gail (Mike) Craig and Sarah Sprinkle, all of Anchorage, Alaska; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a brother, David “Fuzzy” (Dee) Sprinkle of Milton-Freewater, Oregon.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joann Sprinkle; daughters, Debbie Davis and Cheryl Sprinkle; daughter-in-law Valerie Kordus Sprinkle; parents, Weldon and Mary; and brothers, Harold, Ronald and Richard Sprinkle.

A celebration of life was held on June 25, 2022.
