Anti-CRT rhetoric has made children curious

Idaho is one of about a half dozen states that have passed laws banning the teaching of “critical race theory” in our public schools. The main reason used against CRT by white parents is it teaches their children to feel guilty for what has and is being done to people of color. In other words, these parents do not want the truth to be taught in our Idaho schools.

What is happening is all this anti-CRT rhetoric and the banning of it has actually made these children curious about what their parents are trying to hide from them. (Didn’t these parents learn anything from the DARE program debacle that assumed our children are stupid?) These kids are not stupid and are now going on the internet and learning far more about CRT than they would have learned in the classroom.

Make something a forbidden fruit and it will always become more desirable.
