Friday, June 10 Baldfoot disc golf league results

There was a tie on top of the leaderboard for the Friday, June 10 doubles league at the Baldfoot disc golf course.

Michael Givens and Bobby Shaw finished with a score of 45 to tie with Ryan Peterson and Christian Cook, who also scored a 45.

Givens and Shaw got out to the early lead after they birdied hole one. Peterson and Cook would come in for the tie following a birdie performance on hole 3. Following hole 3, the two teams remained tied the rest of the way.

Daniel Pfeifer and Cami Kleinkauf finished in third place, just one stroke behind the first place finishers.

They took a par on hole one, but notched a birdie on hole two to tie early for first place position.

They managed to go back-and-forth with the leaders until they parred on hole 12 when the top two teams birdied, which ultimately sealed their fate.

In third place was Daniel Pfeifer and Cam Kleinkauf with a score of 46, just one stroke behind the two leaders.

Pfeifer and Kleinkauf were matching the leaders step-for-step until a birdie on hole number three from Peterson and Cook allowed them to pull ahead by one stroke.

Givens and Shaw did the same thing to Pfeifer and Klieinkauf on hole eight.

Just like the first place spot, there was a tie for fourth place with Karl Kleinkauf and Kyle Flory finishing tied with Mike Brown and Eddie Lacey with a score of 47, just one stroke behind the third place team of Pfeifer and Cam Kleinkauf.

The duo of Klieinkauf and Flory finished the round with a grand total of eight birdies.

The duo even had a stretch from hole seven to hole 10 where they hit four straight birdies. They were the only team to accomplish that feat.

On hole 18 however, the duo bogeyed adding a stroke to their total and kicking them out of the top three.

Brown and Lacey finished the round with seven birdies on holes 1,4,5,8,9,14, and 16.

The next doubles league at the Baldfoot disc golf course will be on Friday, June 17.
