NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ponderay City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following request: File AM22-025 - Zoning Text Amendment, Title 9, Chapter 1, Section 2, Definitions; Title 9 Chapter 4, Articles A and D, Uses, Permitted and Title 9, Article C, Special Uses - Mike Hammack has initiated an amendment to the land use regulations of Ponderay City Code (PCC). The proposed amendment would modify the text of Title 9, Chapter 1, Section 2, Definitions: "Contractors Yard", to remove the temporary use designation. Additionally, the amendment would modify Title 9 Chapter 4, Articles A and D, Uses Permitted, and Title 9, Article C, Special Uses, to allow for a "Contractor's yards" by right within the Rural and Industrial zoning designations and by special use permit within the Commercial zone. The Ponderay Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the proposed text amendment at their regularly scheduled meeting on June 9, 2022. STATE TIMBER SALE CR300724, GOAT CREEK SALVAGE A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 1806 Main Avenue, St. Maries, ID 83861, at 9:00 a.m. local time, on Thursday, June 30, 2022 for an estimated 5,760 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. CORRECTION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NEW SYRINGA HEIGHTS WATER DISTRICT FEE. The Board of Directors ("Board") of Syringa Heights Water District ("District") will hold a public hearing on June 29th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Building located at 1325 Pine Street, Sandpoint, Idaho in accordance with Idaho Code ยง63-1311A. The purpose of the public hearing is to take public comments regarding a proposed new fee for additional living units constructed within the District following the approval of the implementation of the new fee. The establishment of the new fee is intended to allow the District to recoup its costs associated with new additional living units monitored by a single water meter. The Board will consider all written and oral communication in making a final determination as to whether to implement the new fee.
