NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN NEW CONNECTIONS TO THE COOLIN SEWER DISTRICT SYSTEM COOLIN SEWER DISTRICT The Board of Directors ("Board") of Coolin Sewer District ("District") will hold a public hearing on June 14, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. at The Inn at Priest Lake. At the District's October 5, 2021 regular meeting, the District Board adopted a "moratorium on will serve letters and hookups on non existing LID's and subdivided lots within the district but does not affect existing LID customers and the moratorium will stay in place and reviewed at every board meeting until sufficient data for capacity is completed by the district's engineer, Dan Larson." At the District's December 7, 2021 regular meeting, the District Board voted to authorize retention of an independent engineer to conduct a capacity study to identify system capacity and amount of, if any, capacity available for new connections in addition to those reserved for LID assessed parcels. On January 28, 2022, the District Board held a public hearing regarding confirmation and extension of the moratorium. Following the public hearing, the District Board adopted Resolution No. 21-01 confirming and continuing the moratorium on certain connections to the District sewer system, which would remain in place until adoption of a Board resolution to terminate such moratorium. At the District's May 3, 2022 regular meeting, the Board received the independent engineer's capacity report and a presentation regarding such report. The purpose of the public hearing is to take public comments regarding the status of the moratorium on certain connections to the District sewer system. The District Board will consider all written and oral communication in making its determination whether to continue the moratorium adopted October 5, 2021 and confirmed January 28, 2022.
