Stacked Bulldogs team successful at swimming state champs

The Sandpoint High School girls placed third and boys placed fifth at the 2022 High School Swimming 4A State Championship over the past weekend.

The girls race to win the team title was tight with Skyview, Bishop Kelly, and Sandpoint all within six points of each other.

The Bulldog girls took second in the 200 freestyle relay with the team of Ava de Leeuw, Maren Davidson, Mia Driggs, and Emily Ballard. They were just under one second off from taking the win with a time of 1:44.29.

The boys relay team placed first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:35.07. The team was made up of McCoy Jensen, Kale Wright, Lon LeBlanc, and Caleb Norling.
