Vote dangerous extremism out

| October 2, 2022 1:00 AM

Not long ago Scott Herndon was known only as a rabble-rouser, disliked by most with his vulgar antics carried out obediently by his wife and daughters. They'd show up at Sandpoint Farmers Market, Sandpoint Arts & Craft Fair, Sandpoint Middle School, accosting students, always with megaphones and mutilated fetus posters. Chaos and disruption was their normal.

Herndon proudly declares a woman with child: should die in event of ectopic pregnancy, should carry a rape or incest, is same as murderer in prison. Sadly, his daughters obey, but no other woman is under Scott Herndon's vision of self-imposed superiority.

Then the frivolous lawsuit he brought against Sandpoint Festival. With no intention to actually enjoy music, he attempted to enter with his gun and his camera rolling. As a result, Bonner County forked out over $250,000 to Davillier Law and another $75,000 for city's legal expenses … wasted taxpayer money for Herndon's politically charged stunt.

In contrast, while Herndon flashes gory fetus posters, Steve Johnson respectfully attended the vigil for Uvalde school shooting victims, held at Evans Brothers Coffee, honoring the once living, breathing, fully formed, viable children.  I respect Steve Johnson's authentic compassion over Herndon's manufactured attention getting.

Write-in Steve Johnson, District 1 Senate. Keep Idaho kind and real.
