Light agenda before BOCC Tuesday
SANDPOINT — A range of items are appearing before the Board of Bonner County Commissioners on Tuesday.
A host of retail alcohol beverage licenses are scheduled to be heard as part of the consent agenda as are two batch claims from the Clerk's Office totaling $629,025.17. In addition, the BOCC is slated to vote on a memorandum of agreement with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation to continue selling annual stickers to the parks at its Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Ponderay and Priest River.
Bonner County Planning Director Jake Gabell is slated to appear before the board seeking interpretation of a zoning boundary. The request, brought on behalf of the property owner, is an attempt to bring clarity to zoning of the property, which appears to be split between Recreation and Agriculture/Forestry-10.
"A land division cannot be processed and create additional lots given the discrepancies on the property," Gabell said in a memorandum to commissioners included in the board's meeting packet.
The county's Information Technology department is appearing before the BOCC seeking approval to renew Adobe Acrobat software licenses and the purchase of Foxit software licenses. Both allow for the composition, editing and viewing of digital documents.
The board is schedule to review whether to continue IT-related services with Robert Kirtley and iDiscovery Solutions. Currently, the county is paying $5,000 per month for the services, which are no longer needed, according to data provided in the board packet.
Weekly reports are scheduled to be heard from county commissioners, Human Resources and Bonner County EMS, with an update on the ambulance district.
An executive session is scheduled to take place involving EMS with a possible action item following the session related to EMS and Clark Fork Ambulance. Executive sessions are closed to the public to give officials a chance to discuss confidential information; however, all decisions must be made in open session.
A second executive session will cover issues related to the BOCC with possible action items following on Solid Waste Advisory Committee and Bonner County Fair Board letters of interest.
