Feed the families instead
So, the Department of Lands has approved an encroachment permit allowing the Valiant Development to proceed with a proposed seven-lot residential development and a proposed 88-slip marina near the mouth of Trestle Creek, which would destroy the spawning grounds of Bull Trout.
Oh sure, just build seven luxury homes that local people couldn’t afford anyway and a marina for boaters. I would really like to know the REAL COST, “wink, wink,” of this permit from the Department of Lands to this group who is planning to destroy Trestle Creek.
Another issue is that some Politicos are going to pay $200,000 to study the Long Bridge to see if it needs to be replaced! Well Merry Christmas.
Considering there are families and other folks who live in our area that don’t have enough food to eat or decent places to live. So, what the hay, let’s spend $200,000 to study the bridge instead of buying food for folks who need it. I don’t know about you, but most Politicos give me the urge to re-gurge.
Merry Christmas to all who are fortunate enough to live here and enjoy everything this area of our planet has to offer. Take good care of yourselves and others.
