Margery Allen Jordan, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, born Aug. 27, 1935, in Twin Falls, Idaho. She passed away peacefully in Twin Falls on Nov. 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy marked by her unwavering faith, deep love for family, and a commitment to her community.

Margery's career spanned several notable positions, including her time with Mountain Bell, where she served as a telephone operator, and subsequent roles at Nelson's TV, Emerald Maintenance, and Dickerson Insurance of Sandpoint.

A graduate of Filer High School, Margery furthered her education with some college. Her dedication to personal growth was matched only by her fervent commitment to her faith; she held a great love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a guiding principle throughout her life.

In her personal pursuits, Margery was deeply engaged in activities that brought her joy. She was a proud member of the TOPS club and spent 15 years performing with Sweet Adelines in Twin Falls and Boise choruses, showcasing her passion for music and community involvement. Margery enjoyed tending to her large garden and bountiful orchard after retiring, cultivating life in the form of fruits and vegetables. Her creativity shone through in her craftwork and love for flowers, and she was known for being a wonderful cook, preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Margery is survived by her daughters, Julie (Doug) Brown-Stark and Jeri Jordan; her brother, Bob (Charlene) Veatch; as well as her nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willis Dale Jordan; her father, James Everett Veatch; her mother, Katherine Veatch; her sister, Barbara Schaak; her brother-in-law, Alvin Schaak; her brother, James Veatch; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Veatch.

Margery Jordan will be remembered as a woman who dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and her community — a true example of love and grace in all areas of her life.

Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Farmer Funeral Chapel, 130 Ninth Ave. N., Buhl. Inurnment will conclude at the Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 185 E. Elm Street, Buhl.

Memorial donations may be made in Margery's name to the Idaho Youth Ranch, 5465 W. Irving St., Boise, ID 83706, the Salvation Army, 348 Fourth Ave N., Twin Falls, ID 83301, or to the Twin Falls Humane Society, 420 Victory Ave., Twin Falls, ID 83301.
