COUNTY WON’T PLOW PRIVATE DRIVES

Although everyone hopes for a mild winter, Commissioner M.D. Hart warns county residents to arrange to have their driveways and lands snowplowed by private dozer operators. “There are a number of capable bulldozer operators now in the county equipped for snowplowing,” commissioner Hart said. “We feel it is only fair that this work be done by them rather than with county equipment, which is hard pressed to cover all county roads if we have heavy snows. Our policy this winter will be to keep county equipment busy on public roads.”
