Full caption: This past Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Sandpoint High tennis team held their annual winter "psych-up" meeting, which outlined what high school tennis in Sandpoint will look like in 2025. Head coach Kent Anderson said the team has gone from working with the worst playing conditions in the state, in terms of both facilities and weather, to the best high school playing conditions in the country. "This will be a full-on college level playing experience for you guys from this point forward," coach Anderson said to his team. "You can thank the Russell family, the city of Sandpoint and the Lake Pend Oreille School District for this incredible opportunity.” Anderson said the meeting had great turnout and the athletes appear to be just as excited as any of the other team he's coached over the years. During the meeting, the team also chose their 2025 captains via a vote and are as follows: Fisher Dail, Aubrey Knowles, Bella Bailey, Hannah Fisher, Lily Evans, Brennan Johnson, Ethan Ballard and Nathan Duke.
