Matthee is best pick for 1A seat
I am voting for Karen Matthee for Idaho Legislative Seat 1A.
Karen is more than qualified with her education and broad work experience: She was the first in her immediate family to attend college (waitressing and work study to help pay her way), she earned a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University; Karen worked as communications director for a nonprofit to assist landmine victims in Southeast Asia and Afghanistan; she worked for large newspapers, radio, magazines; she purchased and ran a 100 year old newspaper in a small conservative town in southeastern Washington. These experiences have enhanced Karen’s ability to listen to others, hear them, and share their concerns and stories. She is a master of skills.
Karen wants to help lower the cost of living for all Idahoans, bring back our doctors, and support public schools and libraries. She rejects HB710 which has caused an undue burden of time and resources on our public and school libraries. Smaller libraries have had to close their doors to minors because of this bill. Karen wants to support educators and librarians to be entrusted to do their jobs without added, unnecessary restrictions.
Join me in voting for a voice for all Idahoans: Vote Karen Matthee, Legislative Seat 1A on Nov. 5. For more about Karen, go online to kmattheeforidaho.com.
