HOPE GROUP TO ISSUE QUESTIONNAIRE
The second meeting of the Hope Area Congress for Community Progress steering committee met last week, hosted by Jeb and Margaret Best in their trailer court rec hall. The group discussed a new name - as “Congress” suggests authoritative force, while “Progress” envisions uprooting trees, pouring concrete and substantial changes to the area. The idea of a small-scale Farmer’s Market to defray costs of a questionnaire was generally approved. Present were Jack Dunn, Darrel Kenops, Bill Wing, Edie Schuyler, Martha Hodgkins, Arthur Pedersen, Jeb Best, Leonard Anderson, Dr. Neal Wendle, Susie Wendle, Pat Lindgren and Chuck Peterson.
