Weight limits off most county roads
SANDPOINT — Weight limit restrictions remain on only a few of the county's roads as spring weather continues to warm up, according to Bonner County Road & Bridge officials.
In District 1 (south of the Long Bridge), restrictions have been lifted from all of the district's roads.
District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — restrictions remain on Reeder Creek and Kalispell Creek roads, with restrictions lifted from all other roads. As a reminder, red flags indicate restrictions are in effect.
District 3 (Sandpoint/Clark Fork) — Road restrictions have been lifted from most roads in the district. However, weight limit restrictions remain on Upper Gold Creek Road, including Meadowood Road, Rapid Lightning Road at the Upper Gold Creek Road intersection and beyond (gravel part only), and Trestle Creek Road.
As a reminder, red flags indicate restrictions are in effect.
Per county ordinance, it is the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Bonner County Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place. The restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
