Lois Hendricks, 91

Lois Elinor Hendricks, 91, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel in Clark Fork, Idaho, with Pastor Scott Douglas officiating.

Lois was born Sept. 13, 1933, in Boston, Mass., to Raymond and Dorothy Bradley. She grew up and attended schools in Medford, Mass.

Lois married James Hendricks on July 30, 1965, in Santa Barbara, Calif. They made their home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and raised eight children. After moving to Rogue River, Ore., Lois worked for Met One assembling electronics. 

In 2016 they moved to Clark Fork and Lois was a member of Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, sewing and baking. She was the best wife and mother in the world, and her family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her husband, James Hendricks of Clark Fork; six daughters, Sherrille (Jeff) Galli of Farmington, N.M., Barbara (Ronald) Allen of Clark Fork, Pamela James of Olympia, Wash., Dori (Rory) O’Duane of Grants Pass, Ore., Kristina (Ray) Crist of Central Point, Ore., and Jamie (Lee) Pfluger of Spokane, Wash.; one son, Steven Hendricks (and Wanda) of Surprise, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by six sisters, Shirley, Carol, Dottie, Rita, Pricilla, and Sylvia; and two brothers, Donny and Floyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Kathleen Freeman; sisters Betty Ballard and Ruthie Keizer; and two brothers, Ray and Richard Bradley.
