District 1 legislators holding town halls

SANDPOINT — A trio of town hall meetings are being held today by District 1 legislators to share the issues of the day and hear from constituents.

The meetings will kick off at 9:30 a.m. in Bonners Ferry, followed by a noon meeting in Sandpoint and capped by a 2:30 p.m. meeting in Priest River.

The Bonners Ferry meeting will be held at the Bonners Ferry Visitors Center; the Sandpoint meeting will be held at the Sandpoint Veterans of Foreign Wars hall and the meeting in Priest River will be held at Priest River City Hall.

Town hall meetings are also slated to take place in the three communities Feb. 8 and March 15.

Representing District 1 are Jim Woodward, Idaho State senator; Mark Sauter, District 1A House of Representatives; and Cornel Rasor, District 1B House of Representatives.
