Rebeca Aispuro, 64

Rebeca Ana Aispuro, 64, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Seattle, Wash.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Rebeca was born Feb. 28, 1961, in Tamaulipas, Mexico. She grew up and attended schools in San Francisco, before settling in San Diego.

She married Joel Aispuro on Dec. 8, 1988, in San Diego. The family moved to Sandpoint in 1995 and opened Joel’s Mexican Restaurant.

She enjoyed shopping and helping others. She was always generous by helping and feeding others. She loved her grandchildren, her children, her husband, and her Jesus. 

She is survived by her husband, Joel Aispuro of Sandpoint; three children: Paul (Natalia) Staffiero, Joel (Moriah) Aispuro of Sandpoint, and Veronica Aispuro of Sandpoint; seven grandchildren: Amber, Anastasia, Eliana, Brielle, Zion, William, and Aiden; two sisters, Irma and Rosa; and two brothers, Ricky and Rueben.
