Gross brings 'Split Man' act to Sandpoint
SANDPOINT — Comedian, magician and ventriloquist Andy Gross will bring his unique blend of comedy and illusion at the Panida Theater on Saturday, June 7, at 7:30 p.m.
Gross has gained international recognition for his "Split Man" act, where he appears to cut himself in half and walks around carrying his upper torso. The viral video has accumulated more than 850 million views across social media platforms and has been featured on major television networks.
The entertainer performs more than 150 shows annually at comedy clubs, Las Vegas venues, cruise ships, corporate events, colleges and performing arts theaters. His comedy style draws comparisons to Don Rickles and Robin Williams, while his ventriloquism showcases genuine voice-throwing abilities — a skill possessed by only a few performers worldwide.
During his interactive shows, Gross demonstrates mind-reading, levitation, object manipulation and audience member participation. His repertoire includes making signed currency disappear and reappear inside fruit, and transforming volunteers into "human puppets."
Gross returns to The Panida stage after previous sold-out performances. His television appearances include recent features on The Ellen Show and an NBC television special highlighting his multi-disciplinary talents.
The Panida Theater is located at 300 N. First Ave., Sandpoint. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will cost between $25 to $44 and are available through the theater's website at panida.org or by calling 208-263-9191.
