Brinkmeier commits to Fort Lewis College
Full caption: Sandpoint's Lilliana Brinkmeier recently committed to continue her soccer career at Fort Lewis College (NCAA Division II) in Durango, Colo. A four-year varsity starter, the veteran goalkeeper finished out her senior season with 201 saves (10.6 saves per game) and 5A All-State Player of the Year honors. She is a three-time All-Inland Empire League selection, having received MVP honors both her sophomore and senior seasons, and was named to the All-State First Team as a sophomore and All-State Second Team as a junior. She's tallied an official record of 41-18-4 over the last four years to go along with 30 shutouts, a 4A State Championship title her junior season, a 4A State Championship runner-up finish her senior season, and three Inland Empire League District Championship titles.
