Swayne to speak at task force luncheon

North Idaho College President Nick Swayne will be the keynote speaker at the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations' June 25 luncheon.

Swayne will offer a presentation on “Higher Education: Report on Progress of North Idaho College" and field questions.

Luncheon guests will also be treated to Coeur d’Alene School District fifth graders Elisie Rasor and Aureliuse Brennan reading their winning essays from January’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. children’s program at NIC.

The luncheon is scheduled 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn. Tickets are $25. Send a check or money order to KCTFHR, P.O. Box 2725, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83816.
