Ali Gunter and Darby Rust, both members of the North Idaho Volleyball Club and rising freshman at Sandpoint High, were named to the Evergreen Region Volleyball Association All-Star Selection Camp list, announced by the organization at the end of May.

The ERVA All-Star program, in the organization's own words, is an avenue for the best-of-the-best area club volleyball players to receive training opportunities and a college-like experience from some of the top college coaches in the Evergreen Region. At the camp, which occurred this past weekend, the region's All-Star players competed as a team against both international teams and other region's All-Star teams. The program serves as the regional chapter of the USA Volleyball’s All-Star program, is part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) pipeline, and follows international age definitions and program offerings each year.

Colleges that were in attendance of the camp were Gonzaga University, Lewis-Clark State College, Eastern Washington University, Spokane Community College, North Idaho College, Northwest Nazarene University, the University of Montana, the University of Providence (Great Falls, Mont.) and Washington State University.

The final stage of the Evergreen Region All-Star program, after tryouts and selection camp, is to form a team that competes at the 2025 USA All-Star Championships, set to be held July 24 through July 27 at the Alliant Energy Expo Center in Madison, Wis. The final roster was announced on Thursday by the organization and Gunter, a middle blocker, has been named an alternate.
