POAC’s Support the Arts Party puts the fun in fundraising
What makes a fun night out? Is it food? Drinks? Good friends? Good music? Beautiful art? Getting involved? If you answered yes to any or all of the above, you won’t want to miss Pend Oreille Arts Council’s Support the Arts Party this year. POAC is definitely putting the fun in fundraising.
Let’s tell you what we’re not doing. We’re not sitting you down for hours and talking at you, blah, blah, blah. Nope. We are having art demonstrations, live music, extraordinary finger foods catered by Ivano’s– call it a dinner on a toothpick – hosted drinks and, of course, silent auction items that include amazing pieces of art handcrafted by our local artist members.
We’ll bring out the kid in you when you participate in a group art project or you can choose to watch from the sidelines. Learn about all the many projects that POAC sponsors and discover who will headline our next performing arts season.
All funds raised will benefit POAC’s educational programs. Come join us and make an impact on our youth arts community.
The good times will start at 5 p.m. Friday, June 27. This event is being held at the University of Idaho’s Sandpoint Organic Agriculture Center, 10881 N. Boyer Road in Sandpoint. Tickets are only $75 each and include a free raffle ticket for incredible door prizes. Go to artinsandpoint.org, or call the office at 208-263-6139 today to reserve your spot. Don’t be left out or you’ll have serious FOMO (fear of missing out).
