SANDPOINT — Kiva Therapeutics Med and Day Spa is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Sandpoint location at 1205 Highway 2, Suite 101, just one block up from the Dairy Depot.
The award-winning spa opened in Sandpoint in 2024, expanding from its original location at Priest Lake, where it has served clients for more than 15 years. Since opening, the Sandpoint location has become a destination for personalized wellness and beauty care.
"Our first year in Sandpoint has been incredible," said Jenny Eggers, owner and licensed massage therapist. "We've been honored to support this community with the same care and passion we've brought to Priest Lake for over a decade. We're looking forward to many more years of connection, healing and service."
The spa offers therapeutic massage and injury treatment, medical aesthetics and medical bodywork, holistic facials and esthetics, and spa relaxation services and wellness support.
Kiva's team of experienced practitioners collectively bring more than 150 years of expertise and focus on treating the whole person. The spa is credentialed with most major insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and the VA, ensuring care is accessible and recognized. Services are often integrated with medical professionals and tailored to support both acute needs and long-term wellness.
Kiva has been serving North Idaho since 2012 and won the 2024 Best of Bonner County Award. The business actively supports local nonprofits, board members and wellness initiatives and maintains membership in the Priest Lake and Sandpoint chambers of commerce.
The spa's name "Kiva" is inspired by ceremonial gathering spaces used by the ancient Pueblo people — places of healing, intention and collaboration. This philosophy guides the spa's approach to treatment and teamwork, where mature, professional practitioners work together to develop personalized care plans.
