MOSCOW — Sandpoint High rising junior Jacob Alexander fanned three batters across four quality innings on the rubber as the Sasquatch were downed by the Blue Devils "A" in the opener of a doubleheader Wednesday at the Moscow School District Community Playfields.
At the plate, Timberlake High rising junior Nathan Beardsall, Priest River High rising junior Broden Collins, and Sandpoint High rising junior Austyn Young all recorded singles in the contest. Bryce Lee drew a bases loaded walk in the third inning, which scored the Sasquatch's only run of the contest.

MOSCOW — Bryce Lee hit a solo home run to deep right field to start a Sandpoint five-run fourth inning rally and rung up 10 batters over 4.2 relief innings on the mound as the Sasquatch rallied to overcome the Blue Devils "A" in the nightcap of a doubleheader Wednesday at the Moscow School District Community Playfields.
Lee, who has seen time on the Sasquatch's 17U team this season, finished the game 3-for-3 with three runs scored to lead the way. Sandpoint High rising sophomore John Holman was also efficient, dialing up a 3-for-4 effort with a two-run triple that led off a four-run second frame to go along with three runs scored, three stolen bases and three RBI. His twin brother, Daniel Holman, registered RBI singles during both the second and fourth innings and scored three runs to help the Sasquatch's cause.
Timberlake High rising junior Nathan Beardsall also had RBI singles during the second and fourth innings while Sandpoint High rising sophomore Conner Brown capped off a 3-run first inning with an RBI single and drove home the Sasquatch's 12th and final run with a sacrifice fly to deep left field.
Sandpoint High rising sophomore Blake Bogadi contributed two singles of his own for the Sasquatch, which will host the Blue Devils for a doubleheader at War Memorial Field this Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
