Johnny Kimbel, 82

After fighting a long illness, Johnny Ray Kimbel passed away April 21, 2025, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with loved ones by his side who take comfort in knowing he is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. 

He was born on June 3, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to Theodore and Helen Kimbel.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Noralee Bray-Kimbel; his daughter, Cheri Pangburn (Steve); his son, Greg Kimbel (Sabine); his grandchildren, Zak Pangburn, David Kimbel and Julia Kimbel; and four brothers and four sisters.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery on Friday. May 9, 2025, at 11 a.m.
