PRIEST RIVER — Two Priest River Lamanna High School juniors achieved perfect scores in the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery — an exam that determines qualification for enlistment in the U.S. Armed Forces.
By achieving flawless scores of 99, the students performed better than 99% of all test takers and will be eligible for a wide array of roles and opportunities in the military. Four additional students fell into the “Exceptional” category with scores of 93-98. Five students were “Above average” with scores between 65 and 92.
“These results show that 58% of our 11th grade students scored between Exceptional and Average on the ASVAB exam,” wrote counselor Janice Mitchell. “I am so proud of our students’ achievement.”
