Sandpoint Sasquatch 13U wins Cinco de Mayo Tournament
The Sandpoint Sasquatch 13U travel baseball team won the Spokane Indians Youth Baseball Cinco De Mayo tournament held this past Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4 at both Franklin Park and the Dwight Merkel Sports Complex in Spokane. The boys bested a field of 17 teams, defeating the Spokane Expos (9-3), Lilac City Legends (11-3), Kalispell Sluggers (12-8), Spokane Bombers (12-4) and River City Thunder (12-3) in what was a perfect 5-0 performance.
