Northside to host ‘Geography Day’ event

SANDPOINT — With the school year coming to a close, students at Northside Elementary are preparing to demonstrate their knowledge of the world during the school’s annual “Geography Day.”

The event is set to take place 8:30-9:15 a.m. June 4, in the school’s gym. Throughout the session, fourth, fifth and sixth graders will use trifolds to present information about the flag, history and culture of a specific country they have been researching. 

“Since this is a special day for the whole school, we’d like to invite our parents and community,” said Northside Principal Jennifer Majors. “We hope you can attend because our students have worked hard to complete this project and are so excited to share their newfound knowledge.”
