Logan Camp, 29
Logan David Camp, 29, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Sagle, Idaho.
Logan was born Feb. 22, 1996, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Carie Clark and Robert Spear. Later, at the age of 3, he was lovingly adopted by David Anthony Camp.
Logan grew up in Sandpoint and attended Sandpoint High School, graduating in 2014. After graduation, Logan chased his dreams of being a master grower in Portland, Ore., with his high school sweetheart and love of his life.
In August of 2024, missing his hometown and the comfort of his roots, he returned to Sandpoint and moved into his family home in Sagle with his beloved dogs, Capone and Chemi. He enrolled at Arizona State University to continue his education in environmental biology; a field that reflected his deep love of nature and the planet.
Logan had a true love of the outdoors, caring for animals — he had a heart for every living creature and often brought them into the family. Whether hiking or swimming with his dogs, Logan always had his camera in hand, capturing the beauty around him and love for life in every frame.
Logan had a remarkable soul. He had the gift of bringing a smile to anyone’s face, even in the darkest of times. We know he is in heaven making grandpa Ken and great-grandma Ruth smile, just like he did on Earth.
Logan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carie (Cody) Keeley of Rathdrum, Idaho; adoptive father David Camp of Yuma, Ariz.; three sisters, Bryce (Fourier) Clark, Amanda Camp, and Brianna Camp; grandmothers Joy Mott and Jodi Spear; aunts Rebecca Martin and Robyn Spear; and an uncle, Kenny Breeden.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Spear; great-grandmother Ruth Stockdale; grandfathers Kenneth Mott and Robert Spear Sr.; and an uncle, Mark Spear.
In Logan’s honor, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the animals.
Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Logan’s online memorial at lakeviewfuneral.com and sign his guest book.
