(Photo by MARY MALONE) A Carousel of Smiles chariot with a newly painted panel, as well as some of the restored and painted ponies, are on display at Mountain West Bank in Sandpoint. There will be a champagne reception for the Carousel of Smiles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, for the community to see the progress and different stages of restoration.
