Computers open up a world of possibilities, Sandpoint High School junior Kynan Murphy said. “You can do anything with them [computers]. You can create any you want,” Murphy said. A junior at Sandpoint High School, Murphy was named a semi-finalist for the National Merit Scholarship program. Murphy is in the running to receive one of 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth a combined $28,000,000 that will be awarded in the spring. However, Murphy still has a way to go before the finalist round.
