Emily T. Appel, 32, of Spokane Washington, was arrested at 6:07 p.m. in the 1000 block of Highway 57 in Priest River on a charge of excessive DUI and Injury to child.

An extra patrol request was made in the Sagle Road area at 6:30 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 20000 block of Highway 41 for information in the Spirit Lake area at 6:44 p.m.

A marine deputy responded to a call in the Sandpoint area on Lake Pend Oreille at 6:45 p.m.

A Pend Oreille County, Washington, deputy responded to an animal problem on E. Telephone Road in Newport, Wash., at 6:48 p.m.

Deputies responded to the Hunter Road area in Blanchard for a welfare check at 7:02 p.m.

An information case was reported in the area of Schweitzer Mountain Road at 7:42 p.m.

A fireworks violation was reported in the 1200 block of Garfield Bay Road in Sagle at 9:14 p.m.

Deputies assisted Priest River Police on a family offense in the Cemetery Road area at 10:31 p.m.
