Basketball School of Sandpoint offers annual summer camps

Print Article

The Basketball School of Sandpoint is holding its annual summer basketball camp from July 15-19 at Kootenai Elementary School.

The camp will be divided into two sections: Boys and girls ages 7-10 will participate from 8 a.m. to noon, while boys and girls ages 11-15 will follow from 1-5 p.m.

Campers will be grouped based on ability and will be taught fundamentals including ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense.

They will also participate in creative games, competitions, races and tournaments — all while developing basketball skills — culminating with a camp championship on Friday.

Cost per camper starts at $90, but discounts are available for families with multiple children. Two siblings cost $170, three cost $250 and four will be $330.

The cost includes an official camp shirt.

For more information regarding registration, please contact Darren Laiche by either calling 208-304-9140, or visiting online at BasketballSchool-OfSandpoint.com.
