Judy Ann Schmidgall,

61, of Clark Fork passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at her home. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Clark Fork Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with President Russ Hiatt conducting. Burial has taken place in the Pack River Cemetery.

Judy was born on July 12, 1942, in Long Beach, Calif., to Hobert and Betty (Troutman) Jordan. She was raised by her loving grandmother Lucille Jordan. She graduated from Pomdale High School in 1960.

Judy married Donald Schmidgall and from this union, three wonderful children were born. The couple were divorced after 13 years of marriage. Judy and her children moved to North Idaho in 1982.

Judy is best described as a noble woman full of excitement, love and compassion for all those she felt were in need. Judy was a gifted seamstress who enjoyed sewing beautiful wedding and prom dresses for her friends and family. Her favorite outdoor activity was fishing with her grandchildren. Judy is a member of the LDS church and at the time of her illness was serving as the Clark Fork Branch Relief Society president.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lucie (Gary) Yocom of Clark Fork, Carolyn (John) Hicks of Clark Fork; a son, Hobert (Nancy) Marxmiller of Newport, Wash.; five grandchildren, Jeff, Brent and Dakota Yocom; Alyssa Hicks; and Jacob Marxmiller; twin sisters, Dr. Darlene McCord of Lake Tahoe, Nev., and Charlene Meenan of Lake Tahoe, Nev. She was preceded in death by her parents Hobert and Betty, and her grandmother Lucille.
