SANDPOINT — There will be no shortage of candidates to choose from when Bonner County voters head to the polls this year.

A total of 26 residents have filed to compete in the May 25 primary and Nov. 2 general elections. The filing period ended on Friday.

Democrat and Republican write-ins have until May 11 to file as candidates. Independents cannot run as write-ins in Idaho.
