Agnes Ethel Loutzenhiser, 84

Agnes Ethel Loutzenhiser, 84, passed away near Sandpoint on April 12, 2004.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Mrs. Loutzenhiser will be buried later in the Flagler Cemetery in Flagler, Colo.

Mrs. Loutzenhiser was born in Flagler, Colo., on July 27, 1919. She graduated from high school in Flagler, Colo., in 1937 and married Clair Loutzenhiser on Nov. 7, 1937 in Flagler.

She had lived on a farm near Flagler and moved into town in 1975. In September 2002, she and her husband moved to Sandpoint to live with her son and his family.

She was an avid reader and had served on the Colorado Library Board. She enjoyed her family and her reading.

Mrs. Loutzenhiser is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clair Loutzenhiser of Sandpoint; three children, F. Stanley (and Clara) Loutzenhiser of Roseville, Calif., Zetah (and Bill) Pracht of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Loyd (and Diane) Loutzenhiser of Sandpoint; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Don Page of Placerville, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters including Betty Robinson of Sandpoint, Margaret and Avis; and two grandchildren, Tracy and Alan.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
