Bertha J. Davis, 82

Bertha J. Davis, 82, passed away in Sandpoint on Saturday, April 10, 2004.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in the Sandpoint VFW Hall.

Bertha was born in Sweden on May 3, 1921, and left Sweden with her family at the tender age of 3 months. Her family settled in Minnesota.

She lived in Spokane for several years and worked as a cook. She owned a couple of different restaurants throughout her life and retired from the Lane Park Cafe.

She is survived by five children, Roger Vick of Spokane, Wash., Bruce (and Debbie) Marshall of Kelso, Wash., Darlene (and Les) Norton of Spokane, Joanne Monda of Sandpoint, and Carol Wolfrom of Sagle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; her son, Ivan Abell; her parents, John and Selina; and three siblings, Karen, Wayne and Larry.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
