Louise M. Gold, 90

Louise M. Gold, 90, went to be with her maker on Sunday, April 11, 2004, in Sandpoint.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Louise was born on Jan. 21, 1914, in Iola, Kan., the daughter of William and Emma (Langley) Leslie.

She grew up in Kansas and married French H. Winans on Nov. 1, 1930, in Emmett, Idaho. They had two daughters, Joetta and Derell, and a son, Dennis.

French preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1964, in Reno, Nev.

Louise moved to Sandpoint to be with her family.

She married Ellis "Brownie" Gold on June 9, 1966, in Coeur d'Alene. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1984.

Later on, Louise sold her home and moved into Alpine Vista Apartments and then Life Care Center.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sandpoint, where she was involved with the Relief Society and genealogy. Her church and family were the joys in her life.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joetta M. and her husband, Seth, Batt of Hayden, and Derell A. and her husband, Larry, McCormick of Sandpoint; a son, Dennis R. Winans of Pocatello; 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and two sisters, Edith and Rose.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
