Andrew Jackson Sweeney, 40

Andrew Jackson Sweeney, 40, passed away in Spokane on Tuesday, April 13, 2004.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 17 in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Andrew was born in Westminster, Calif. on June 5, 1963. He later moved to Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High School in the class of 1982. For a period of time he lived in Minneapolis, Min. moving to Spokane in 1985. He was employed as head chef at the Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute in Spokane.

He enjoyed throwing parties and entertaining. he was loved by all that he met and his infectious laugh and joy of life will be remembered by all. He will be greatly missed. We love you, Andy.

His is survived by: His beloved mother, Janice Sweeney; his brother, Chris (and wife Renee) Gaddis, and their children Brenda, Nick and Caleb; his brother, Jeff (and wife Laura) Sweeney, and their children Tristen, Jacob and Kyle; his sister, Lindy (and husband Jim) Woody, and their child Amy; step brothers and sisters, Jim Sweeney, Kathy Campbell, Mike Sweeney, Patty Christensen, Sue Middelton, Mary Griggs, Joan Moyle and their families; and long time friends, Linda Busse, Lauren Eilmes, De Martin and Gregory Sheldon.

He was preceded in death by his father Gene Sweeney, and nephews Adam Pelphrey and Josh Campbell.
