HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE CS786-04 - SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A PORTABLE ASPHALT BATCH PLANT - FRANK LINSCOTT is requesting a Special Use Permit to operate a temporary mobile asphalt batch plant for a six-month period from May 1, 2004 through October 31, 2004. The project site is zoned Rural and is located on the west side of U.S. Highway 95, at the Linscott Gravel Pit in Sagle, and is generally located in Section 10, Township 56 North, Range 2 West, B.M.

1:45 P.M. - FILE CS785-04 - SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY ASPHALT BATCH PLANT - RALPH AND BEVERLY GODING are requesting a Special Use Permit to operate a temporary asphalt batch plant for a period of three months in the spring and summer of 2004. The project site is located on the south side of Ivy Lane about one mile west of US Highway 95 in Sagle and is generally located in Section 16, Township 56 North, Range 2 West, B.M.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ponderay City Council shall conduct separate Public Hearings on Monday, the 3rd day of May, 2004, at Ponderay City Hall, 288 4th Street, commencing at 6:00 p.m. Said hearings are for the purpose of public input for the following:

1. A request by Galloway Romero for the Home Depot for a zone change from rural to commercial for the East half of Block 6 of Starr's Acreage, less the North 525 feet. Commonly known as the Vernon Webb property. Located at 401 Starr Lane. The Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission at a public hearing held April 14, 2004, unanimously recommended approval of the zone change request.

2. A request by Galloway Romero for the Home Depot for a zone change from rural to commercial for the North 525 feet of the East half of Block 6 of Starr's Acreage, except the North 132 feet. Commonly known as the Frank Boss property. Located just North of the Vernon Webb property and South of In and Out Painting. The Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission at a public hearing held April 14, 2004, unanimously recommended approval of the zone change request. Written comments over one (1) page in length must be received by the Ponderay City Council, P.O. Box 500, Ponderay, Idaho 83852, one week prior to the hearing date.
